Black robe is a 1991 motion-picture show starring Lothaire Bluteau, Aden Young and Sandrine Holt. It was directed by Bruce Beresford and adapt from Brian Moores 1985 novel of the same name. It was produced by a Joint Film production of Australia and Canada. The movie lasts about one hour and forty-one minutes. The movie was named dress hat Canadian Film at the 12th Annual Genie Awards, with dread Schellenberg also taking home the Best Supporting Actor trophy. (Epinions, 2004) The movie revolves around a 1632 French missionary, Father LaForgue (Lothaire Bluteau) or Black nightgown as the Indians referred to him. He traveled to North America to attempt to ransom the savages on the new land. His mission leads him to a Canadian result and an Algonquin tribe. There he is send-off introduced into the Indian religion, culture, and practices.
